This small and buzzy restaurant is situated at the cul-de-sac end of Brighton Boulevard. There is seating outside (porch) and the very tight and possibly a tad too intimate communal grunge seating inside (parlour) - hence the name. Coffee brand is Sacred Grounds - likely chosen in deference to the Biddigal Tribe of Bondi Coffee. It is well made by the baristas and good enough to go for seconds.

Food is simply presented, whether on the pegged together menu, in the cabinet or on the plate. We chose variations on the 'smashed' egg theme - a soft whole boiled egg, shelled before serving. I enjoyed the dukka encrusted 2 egg veggie plate. My friends enjoyed their more plain 2 goog chive coated dishes too. The mattress leaning on the back wall, resembling something used in an Egyptian prison cell was a creative touch. Understandably popular.
