Sydney Tango Salon Festival is a true festival of the city of Sydney. We have chosen iconic sites in which to hold our workshops and milongas to celebrate Sydney history and culture.

Bondi Pavilion is a special heritage example of our beachside culture from the 1920s – “The Mediterranean” is a restaurant/bar with a touch of Greece & Italy in the inner city – the Russian Club is one of Sydney’s longest running ethnic and tango venues - South Sydney Juniors is an iconic entertainment and dining venue in the eastern suburbs established as a returned servicemans club - the auditorium at Marrickville Hardcourt Tennis Club was one of the first tango venues in Sydney, started as a place for friends to share the passion of tango in 2001 – all are symbols of the new and vibrant Sydney of today.
